In October of 1992, Joe Carter and wife, Diana, established Carter Funeral Home. Dedicated to offering compassionate quality service at a reasonable cost, it was Joe Carter's dream to open his own funeral home after serving in this profession for more than 30 years in this same area.

In 2013, Carter Funeral Home was purchased by Brad and Lisa Conley who continue to operate the funeral home with the same goal in mind; To provide a meaningful and affordable service to each and every family that we have the honor of serving. Arranging for a loved one's funeral will be one of life's most difficult tasks. Therefore, we encourage each family to arrange for the type of service they are most comfortable with while staying within their means, be it a simple cremation, traditional service or a memorial service.

Carter-Conley Funeral Home is located in a quiet, yet festive neighborhood located at 13701 Corpus Christi Street, half way between Uvalde and Freeport Street in the Northshore area. We have one of the largest chapels in the North Channel/Houston area, capable of seating over 300 people.
